In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, shoes are crucial for your character's mobility and comfort. As you journey through the game, your shoes will wear out, and you'll need to find new ones or repair your current pair to avoid wandering barefoot. Here’s how you can manage your footwear in the game.

How to Get Shoes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Starting the game, you're equipped with a basic pair of shoes, but you don't have to stick with them throughout your journey. There are multiple ways to acquire new shoes. You can discover them in chests or loot them from enemies like poachers. For a more lawful approach, consider purchasing new shoes.

While tailors, such as the one in Troskowitz, sell shoes, they often lack superior stats. For better quality, head to a cobbler. You can find a cobbler in Trosky, marked on the map by a symbol of three red pieces in a circle, as illustrated below.

When you visit a cobbler, like Cobbler Matthew, you'll find a range of items for sale, including shoes and horse-related gear. Additionally, you can purchase materials and both Blacksmith’s Kits and Cobbler’s Kits from them.

How to Repair Shoes

Repairing your shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* can be done through several methods. You can have them repaired by cobblers or blacksmiths by selecting the repair option during your conversation with them. A menu will appear where you can choose which items to repair and see the associated costs. These costs may vary if you have taken perks in the Craftsmanship skill, which offer percentage discounts on NPC repairs for all types of gear, including shoes and armor.

Alternatively, you can repair your shoes yourself, provided your Craftsmanship level is high enough. If it's not, you won't be able to repair certain items. To perform self-repairs, you'll need a Cobbler’s Kit, which can be bought from various vendors, including cobblers and blacksmiths, or found in chests and on NPCs.

To use a Cobbler’s Kit, navigate to it in your inventory and press the interact button ("E" on PC). This will open a menu displaying damaged items that can be repaired with the kit. Items that appear faded are beyond your current skill level to repair. Select the items you wish to repair and press the interact button again to fix them.

This guide covers how to get and repair shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For repairing other gear besides shoes, use a Blacksmith’s Kit similarly. Alternatively, seek out a vendor for repairs to ensure your gear remains functional and effective throughout your adventures.
