While it might not be as thrilling as engaging in open combat, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* offers players a robust stealth system, allowing you to sneak past enemies. A key component of your stealth arsenal is the ability to throw rocks, and here’s how you can master this technique.
It's crucial to understand that you can only throw rocks while in stealth mode. To enter stealth, press the right stick on your controller or the 'C' key on your PC. Once in stealth, depending on your platform, press and hold the following button to prepare your rock throw:
As you hold the button, Henry's right hand will appear on the screen, clutching a pebble, and a small crosshair will guide your aim. Once you've lined up your target, release the button to send the rock flying.

One of the most advantageous aspects of throwing rocks is that they are unlimited; you won't need to worry about retrieving missed throws. However, since Henry is tossing small pebbles, the noise they create has a limited radius. It's essential to ensure your target is close to where you aim. If you manage to hit objects like cups or plates, the noise will be sharper and more likely to attract attention.

If executed correctly, enemies will be drawn to the sound, giving you the chance to either take them down stealthily or slip away unnoticed. Be cautious, though; hitting an enemy directly with a rock will immediately cause a commotion.
Rocks can also be used to knock down bird nests, which are scattered throughout the game world. These nests often contain rewards such as eggs, which provide minor nourishment, or even dice badges if fortune smiles upon you.
And that’s everything you need to know about throwing rocks in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and tricks, The Escapist offers a wealth of information, including guides on how to acquire the best horse or how to sell stolen items, should your adventures take a thievish turn.
