A recent Discord announcement revealed that a select group of 100 volunteers are currently testing this highly anticipated feature. Recruitment for these testers has now closed, signaling the mode’s imminent release.

While details remain scarce, fans can expect a difficulty level reminiscent of the first game’s notoriously unforgiving hardcore mode. Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s hardcore mode famously limited saves, boosted enemy damage, complicated navigation, slashed gold rewards, and introduced punishing negative perks. Expect Deliverance 2’s hardcore mode to build upon this foundation, promising an even more demanding experience.

Due to strict non-disclosure agreements, testers are forbidden from sharing screenshots or videos. However, this testing phase strongly suggests an official announcement and release date are on the horizon.
