Developer Sway State Games has unveiled their latest project, Into a Hearth Yonder, a cozy creature-collecting MMO-lite designed for PC, set to launch next year. This game promises a delightful journey through the world of Viteria, where players can immerse themselves in a charmingly colorful art style, whether exploring solo or with friends.
In Into a Hearth Yonder, players are accompanied by adorable automata companions. These little helpers not only enhance the visual appeal with their Tamagotchi-like charm but also boost various gameplay aspects such as combat, farming, fishing, mining, and crafting. "We thought it would be fun to embody player stats and skills as cute, Tamagotchi-like automata," explained Chris O'Kelly, the studio head at Sway State Games. "You take joy in collecting and caring for them, and in return, they enhance your exploration of Viteria, improve your quality of life, and empower you to lean fully into your favorite playstyle."

O'Kelly further elaborated on the game's design philosophy, stating, "We aimed to lay out a cozy table of adventure, to explore at your own pace, with plenty of building, crafting, exploration, and magic. 'Survival' but with less struggle - just a worry-free deceleration, really."
The development team behind Into a Hearth Yonder brings a wealth of experience from notable titles such as Divinity: Original Sin, Dying Light 2, Harold Halibut, and Horizon: Call of the Mountain. If you're eager to embark on this enchanting journey, you can wishlist Into a Hearth Yonder on Steam.
