Hogwarts Legacy: Mod Support Coming Soon

Warner Bros. Games has given Harry Potter fans a magical early Christmas present: Hogwarts Legacy mod support arrives this Thursday! Initially available only on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, this feature will likely be the star of an upcoming patch.

The update includes the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, empowering players to craft their own dungeons, quests, and even character edits. The renowned modding platform, CurseForge, will host and distribute these creations. A built-in mod manager will simplify the process of finding and installing user-generated content.

Several pre-approved mods will launch alongside the patch, including the intriguing "Dungeon of Doom," promising challenging combat and hidden secrets. However, there's a caveat: linking your gaming platform accounts to a WB Games account is required to access and utilize mods.

Beyond modding, the patch introduces additional character customization options, such as new hairstyles and outfits. The developers showcased examples of these in a recent trailer.

Meanwhile, development on a potential Hogwarts Legacy sequel is already underway, with Warner Bros. Discovery confirming it as a high priority for the years to come.
