KartRider Rush+ Season 31: Journey to the West Launched

Nexon has kicked off Season 31 of KartRider Rush+, infusing the thrill of high-speed racing with the rich tapestry of Chinese mythology, drawing inspiration from the epic tale of Journey to the West. This season promises an exhilarating mix of new racers, tracks, and karts, all wrapped in an ancient story's charm. Let's dive into the details to see what's new and exciting in this season.

What are the New Karts in KartRider Rush+ Season 31?

The spotlight of Season 31 is undoubtedly on the new karts. The standout additions are the Luce Bluestorm and Luce Blackstorm, designed to bring a new level of style to your races. For those who enjoy a bit of variety, there are four new item karts to choose from: the Golden Kitty Cruiser, Golden Nimbus, Honeybee, and Porkchopper. Speed enthusiasts aren't left out, with three new speed karts available: the Pegasus Marathon, Game Kartridge, and Sunset Boxster. Each kart offers a unique blend of aesthetics and performance, ensuring that you can find the perfect ride for your racing style.

The character lineup for Season 31 brings legendary figures from Journey to the West directly onto the KartRider Rush+ tracks. Meet Zhu Bajie Keffy, Tang Sanzang Bazzi, and Sha Wujing Lodumani, reimagined as KartRider avatars. You can see these iconic characters in action by watching the official Season 31 trailer below.

Season 31 also introduces new tracks to test your skills. The Speed Race track, Perimeter Dash (Camelot), is already available, offering a challenging course. Coming up, the Dam Showdown (Village) track, which supports both Speed and Item modes, will be released on March 26th. Following that, the Speed Race track, Crossroads of Fate (Abyss), is set to launch on April 10th, promising even more thrilling races.

There Are Also Plenty of Events Lined Up

To celebrate Season 31, KartRider Rush+ is rolling out several events. The 'Journey to the West: Time to Warm Up!' event, running until March 22nd, allows players to earn rewards such as the Rainbow Cloud Aura (Permanent), Wukong Balloon, Season Coins, Turbo Crystals, and K-Coins simply by logging in and participating in Ranked Mode races.

If you log in by March 30th, you can unlock the Pegasus Marathon and Honeybee karts for a seven-day trial. During this period, you can use Season Coins at the Season Exchange to acquire items like Adou, Angel Mobi, the Three Kingdoms Set (M/F), and Aerial Laser, with the exchange open until April 28th.

From March 21st to April 16th, the Fantasy Journey to the West event lets you collect up to 10 shards per day by racing, earning you rewards like the Flamegale Driftmoji, Gourd Handheld, Frost Headgear, and Zhu Bajie Balloon.
