The King of Fighters AFK is now available in early access for players in Thailand and Canada! Download it today from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Early access players are guaranteed to recruit Mature from the Orochi Clan.
This new mobile game, inspired by retro RPGs, offers a fresh take on the classic fighting franchise. Unlike its predecessor, King of Fighters Allstar, KoF AFK features a distinct 5v5 battle system. Netmarble confirms that player progress will transfer to the full release.
A Different Approach
KoF AFK faces a challenge in winning back fans. While King of Fighters Allstar featured exciting crossovers (like WWE), KoF AFK ventures into a genre further removed from the original series.
The game features Neo-Geo Pocket-inspired sprites, and early access players receive Mature, a powerful Orochi clan member. However, some fans may remain hesitant after the disappointment of King of Fighters Allstar. Hopefully, KoF AFK will provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience for fans.
