Marvel Rivals' upcoming update, as discovered by reliable dataminer X0X_Leaks, hints at a new PvE mode featuring a boss battle against a kraken. While the kraken model boasts some animations, high-resolution textures are still absent. The dataminer cleverly utilized the monster's in-game size parameters to provide a preview of its potential appearance.

Separately, Marvel Rivals has announced details of its significant Spring Festival event, launching this Thursday. This event introduces a unique 3v3 game mode, "Clash of Dancing Lions," where teams compete to score a ball into the opposing goal. The mode bears a striking resemblance to Overwatch's Lucioball, further drawing comparisons to Rocket League.

This similarity is noteworthy, given Marvel Rivals' apparent attempt to distinguish itself from Overwatch by generating unique content. The Spring Festival event, however, arguably mirrors Overwatch's initial special mode, albeit with a distinct Chinese cultural theme in contrast to Overwatch's Olympic Games aesthetic.
