The highly anticipated successor to *Blue Lock Rivals* is finally here! *Basketball Rivals*, based on the popular *Kuroko's Basketball* anime and manga, is ready to take the court. Developed by Chrollo, the game boasts a new trailer, confirmed release date, and a unique public playtest system. Here's everything you need to know about the *Basketball Rivals* release date.
*Basketball Rivals* officially launches on March 14, 2025, at 5 PM EST. The long-awaited trailer is finally here (see below!), and we highly recommend checking the official event page for the latest updates and any potential last-minute schedule changes.
The trailer is electrifying! It showcases the unique playing styles of characters like Aomine Daiki's dazzling dribbling and scoring, and Shintaro Midorima's incredible long-range shots. While testers are already familiar with these styles, this trailer gives newcomers a fantastic preview of the abilities they can unlock.
Keep an eye on the official *Basketball Rivals* game page and Discord server for prerelease public playtest announcements. Chrollo has implemented a unique system: the game will open for 30-minute public playtests each time the Release Event page reaches 20,000 interested players (20k, 40k, 60k, and so on). Don't miss your chance to jump in before launch! However, we advise against purchasing anything with Robux during the playtests, as purchases won't carry over to the official launch.
Currently, there's no official *Basketball Rivals* Trello board, as the game is still in its prerelease phase. Chrollo has confirmed that an official Trello will be launched after the game's release. This Trello will detail customization options and the various character styles based on *Kuroko's Basketball*, similar to the *Blue Lock Rivals* Trello.
That's all you need to know about the *Basketball Rivals* release date! In the meantime, check out our *Basketball Rivals* codes to get ready for the game.
