Overlord's story centers on the Dive MMORPG Yggdrasil. When the game shuts down, guild leader Momonga finds himself trapped, unable to log out, in a world where NPCs gain sentience. Reborn as the powerful sorcerer Ainz Ooal Gown, he commands a terrifying power.
