The game's new official Twitter (X) account has just announced that the English version is on the horizon, and fans won't want to miss the upcoming livestream packed with exciting details.

First Announcement From Western Account

*Persona 5: The Phantom X* (P5X) is set to broaden its audience with the launch of a new social media account focused on the game's upcoming English version. The eagerly awaited release date might be unveiled during the livestream scheduled for May 15. In a post on May 15, P5X Official West announced their first major reveal will take place at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus’ official western YouTube channel.

The livestream promises an exciting lineup of guests, including voice actors Kaede Hondo, who voices Motoha Arai, and Chika Anzai, the voice of Yui. They will be joined by P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda, Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, as well as Development Producer Jun Matsunaga and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.

Originally launched in selected regions in April 2024, P5X has sparked speculation about its Western release, especially after developers hinted at English localization plans during the game's first anniversary livestream. The official account tantalizingly teased that while the release date for Japan will certainly be announced, fans should tune in to discover what's in store for the West.

Japanese Release Coming Soon

The livestream will also shed more light on P5X’s Japanese (JP) release, which was discussed during the game's first anniversary celebration. Atlus confirmed that P5X will launch in Japan in Summer 2025, with pre-registrations now open on the JP website.

In their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12, Sega Sammy Holdings, the Japanese global holding company, noted that the game is slated for release "In or after FY2026/3" (April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026), targeting a summer launch.
