Pirates Outlaws 2: Swashbuckling Sequel to Roguelike Deckbuilder

Fabled Game Studio's highly anticipated sequel, Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage, is set to launch in 2025 on Android, iOS, Steam, and Epic Games Store. This roguelike deck-builder builds upon the success of its 2019 predecessor, adding exciting new features. An open beta test is currently underway on Steam (October 25th-31st), with mobile releases to follow.

What's New in Pirates Outlaws 2?

This sequel introduces a new hero with a unique backstory set years after the original game. Players will begin with pre-built decks and special ability cards. New features include:

• Companions: These allies bring their own unique cards to the deck.
• Card Fusion: Combine three identical cards to create a more powerful card.
• Evolution Tree: Upgrade your cards strategically through a branching evolution system. Even previously discarded cards can be upgraded!
• Relic System Overhaul: Relics are no longer found after every battle. Instead, they're discovered in markets, after boss fights, or during special events.
• Countdown Battle System: A new countdown mechanic alters enemy actions, replacing the "End Turn" button with a "Redraw" mechanic.
• Enhanced Armor and Shield System: A revamped system for defensive capabilities.
