Pokémon Go Unveils $100 Ticket for Premium Toilet Access

by Zoe May 23,2025

Pokémon Go has introduced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, offering a range of in-game items and enhanced real-world facilities, including "upgraded restrooms."

Go Fest is the game's annual summer highlight, set to occur this year at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. For those attending the Jersey City event, Niantic has announced the option to further enhance their experience with the $100 Premier Access add-on.

This upgrade, likened to a Business Class option for the event, includes access to a Premier Access lounge. This exclusive area features "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While the specifics of the restroom upgrades remain undisclosed, this lounge aims to provide a more comfortable experience for its attendees.

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will enjoy fast-track entry to the event's Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing them to bypass lines and spend less time waiting and more time enjoying the event and catching Pokémon.

The most compelling feature of the Premier Access upgrade is undoubtedly the extensive list of in-game items it offers. This includes 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and many more valuable resources. Here's the comprehensive list of what you get:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an enamel pin badge as a physical memento of their upgraded experience.

The response to this new ticket offer has been varied. Some players are concerned about the high cost, noting that it's the most expensive upgrade Pokémon Go has ever offered, especially as the game continues to introduce more monetization options. On the other hand, some see the value in the extensive in-game items provided and believe that those who have already invested in travel and entry to Go Fest might be willing to spend more for such an upgrade.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this Premier Access offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.

Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, June 6 in Jersey City, and June 13 in Paris. This year's event will focus on the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader release of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
