Event Highlights:

• Date: January 29th, 10:00 a.m. to February 2nd, 8:00 p.m. local time.
• Shiny Encounters: Increased chances of encountering shiny Ekans, Onix, and Snivy in the wild. Other Pokémon like Darumaka, Dunsparce, Gyarados, and Dratini will also appear more frequently.
• Lucky Pokémon: Boosted chances of obtaining Lucky Pokémon through trades and becoming Lucky Friends.
• Egg Hatches: 2km Eggs will have a higher chance of hatching Makuhita, Nosepass, Meditite, Duskull, and Skorupi.
• Research Tasks: Complete Lunar New Year-themed Field Research and Timed Research for Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters. Routes will also offer Zygarde Cells.
• Paid Timed Research: A $2 purchase unlocks additional rewards, including two Lucky Eggs and an incubator, plus encounters with Ekans and Nosepass.
• Collection Challenge: Complete the event-themed Collection Challenge for extra Stardust, perfect for traders.
