Spanning 22 days, the Mythical Island Emblem Event challenges players to secure between 5 and 45 wins, earning them one of three themed Emblems: bronze, silver, and gold. There’s also a participation medal just for joining in the fun with a single match, win or lose.

Unlike its predecessor, The Genetic Apex SP Emblem Event, this event doesn’t demand consecutive wins. Instead, each victory throughout the event period contributes to your total, capping at 45 wins.

Mythical Island Emblem Event Missions & Rewards

During the event, you can score three types of rewards: Emblems, Shinedusts, and Pack Hourglasses. Winning matches earns you Emblems and Shinedusts, while simply participating nets you Pack Hourglasses. You can potentially collect four Emblems, 24 Hourglasses, and 3,850 Shinedusts.

Given that December’s Emblem Event kicked off right after the Mythical Island expansion, the META hasn't shifted much. The dominance of Pikachu ex and Mewtwo ex decks in PvP remains strong. Sticking with these well-known decks is a solid strategy if you already have them.

However, there's been a notable uptick in Gayadros ex decks, thanks to its synergy with Vaporeon and Misty. For a fresh approach, consider this setup for the Mythical Island Event, rounded out with Lapras and Supporter cards like Leaf, Sabrina, and Giovanni.

Tips for the Mythical Island Emblem Event

To maximize your event experience, consider these tips:

• Calculate your deck's average win rate. The top three META decks in Pokemon Pocket hover around a 50% win rate. This means you might need to play roughly 90 matches to hit 45 wins, or about four matches daily over the 22-day event.
• You can't play event matches once you reach 45 wins. If your goal is the final Shinedust mission (50 wins), you’ll need to switch to regular PvP matches after earning the Gold Emblem, as you can’t queue for event matches post-completion.
• Take advantage of Mew ex in your event decks. Mew ex is a top counter to META cards like Mewtwo ex. If it fits your deck, leverage its Genome Hacking ability for a competitive edge.
