PS5 owners will be able to play both Gran Turismo and Forza Horizon

The long-standing console wars and the exclusivity of major titles have fueled countless discussions. A central point of contention: Forza (Xbox) versus Gran Turismo (PlayStation). Previously, owning both consoles was a luxury, but that's changing. PlayStation gamers will finally have the opportunity to experience Forza firsthand.

Forza Horizon 5 is officially arriving on PS5! The announcement was made via social media, and a dedicated PlayStation Store page is live. The release is slated for Spring 2025, though a precise date remains unannounced.

Panic Button is leading the PS5 port development, with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games providing support. The PS5 version will offer feature parity with other platforms and full cross-platform functionality.

Furthermore, a free content update, "Horizon Realms," is in the works for all platforms. Horizon Festival participants can anticipate exploring beloved locations from past "Evolving Worlds" updates, along with some exciting unannounced additions.
