Rauora is the new Rainbow Six Siege operator

Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rainbow Six Siege's newest addition: Rauora, an attack operator hailing from New Zealand. A key feature is her DOM launcher, a deployable, bulletproof doorway shield. While indestructible by small arms fire, explosives can destroy it. The shield's trigger mechanism offers a strategic advantage; attackers open it in one second, while defenders require three. This time difference can be critical, especially when the defuser is planted.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. Players can also equip her with the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.

Rauora will be playable on the test servers starting next week, with a later release date for the main game.
