Real Flight Simulator - RFS Adds a Real World Engine (RWE) in Update 3.0

Ten Square Games, known for Fishing Clash, Hunting Clash, and Wings of Heroes, has rolled out a major update for their flight simulator. Real Flight Simulator, or RFS, now features the new Real World Engine in version 3.0.

Real World Engine brings a wealth of new features to Real Flight Simulator

This new system transforms how Earth appears and feels during every phase of flight. The planet is now modeled as a true sphere.

Rather than flying over a flat surface, you’ll see the natural curvature of the Earth as you gain altitude. This enhances long-haul flights with more convincing depth, distance, and spatial orientation.

The globe’s visuals have also improved significantly. Satellite imagery now offers sharper textures, and terrain maps better represent elevation. Polar regions now feature smoother transitions and more accurate flight dynamics.

Fog, once heavy and obscuring vast areas, has been significantly reduced. This allows for wider, more realistic horizons throughout all stages of flight.

Lighting and atmospheric effects have been completely overhauled in the Real World Engine. Sunrises and sunsets now interact more naturally with land and water.

The lighting system delivers stronger contrast and more lifelike reflections, while water bodies exhibit enhanced transparency and richer color.

Aircraft lighting has been refined so details on the fuselage, wings, and surfaces respond realistically to environmental conditions. Meanwhile, 3D audio has been upgraded for aircraft including the B747-400F, A310-300, MD11F, and MD11.
