Koei Tecmo's recent financial report showcases an exciting lineup of games slated for release in late 2024 and beyond. This includes a new Dynasty Warriors title and at least one unannounced AAA game.

A New Dynasty Warriors Game After a Five-Year Hiatus

Omega Force, the studio behind the Dynasty Warriors series, is developing "Dynasty Warriors Origins," a tactical action game set during the Three Kingdoms period. This marks the first full-fledged Dynasty Warriors game since 2018's Dynasty Warriors 9 (excluding the 2022 expansion). The game, featuring a "Nameless Hero," is scheduled for release in 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

Other Upcoming Releases

The report also highlights the upcoming release of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake" in October 2024 (PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC), celebrating the 20th anniversary of the original. "FAIRY TAIL 2," a sequel to the 2020 RPG, is also slated for release this winter on PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC.
