Housemarque's highly anticipated new title, Saros, was unveiled at the February 2025 State of Play event, with a projected release date sometime in 2026. Discover more about this exciting new game below!
Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is slated for release in 2026. Building upon the success of Returnal, this new IP will refine and expand on the thrilling third-person action gameplay. Starring Hollywood actor Rahul Kohli as Arjun Devraj, Saros promises a captivating narrative experience.
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand independently while simultaneously establishing a new franchise. Unlike Returnal's procedurally generated roguelike environments, Saros will feature persistent, upgradeable loadouts, including weapons and suits, allowing players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges.
Further gameplay details will be revealed later in 2025.
