According to Variety, the popular game Split Fiction is set to be adapted into a film, with multiple top Hollywood studios vying for the movie rights. Story Kitchen, a media company known for its expertise in adapting games and other non-traditional properties into films and TV shows, is currently assembling a package deal that includes the project's writers, director, and cast. This team previously worked on the upcoming film adaptation of Hazelight Studios' game, It Takes Two. Story Kitchen, formerly known as dj2 Entertainment, has also been involved in other notable projects such as the Sonic the Hedgehog films and Netflix's Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft. At this point, no further details about the Split Fiction film adaptation have been disclosed.
*Split Fiction* continues to enjoy success, having sold over two million copies in its first week on sale, as confirmed earlier this month. IGN's review praised the game as an unmissable co-op adventure that remains fabulously fresh for its full, 14-hour duration.Additionally, Hazelight director Josef Fares announced earlier this week that the studio is already working on its next game."Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Hits 1 Million Sales in 3 Days"
