Team Go Rocket Returns for Fashion Week and Ho-Oh’s Shadow Raid Day in Pokémon Go

Get ready for an exciting Pokémon GO event as Fashion Week: Taken Over kicks off from January 15th to January 19th. During this period, you'll have the unique opportunity to face off against Team Go Rocket and rescue the formidable Shadow Palkia. Not only will you be able to challenge Giovanni, but you can also participate in the Shadow Raid Day event on January 19th to capture Shadow Ho-Oh.

Fashion Week will also mark the debut of two new Pokémon: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. Shroodle can be hatched from 12 km Eggs, adding a fresh challenge to your Pokémon GO adventures. With Team Go Rocket appearing more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons, you'll have ample chances to use Charged TMs to help your Shadow Pokémon forget the Frustration move.

New Shadow Pokémon, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby, will be available. Keep an eye out for Shiny versions of these Pokémon, which can be encountered through various Shadow Raids. For the first time, you can join these raids remotely using Remote Raid Passes, making it easier than ever to participate from anywhere.

The event includes a special research task that leads to acquiring a Super Rocket Radar, setting the stage for your confrontation with Giovanni to save Shadow Palkia. Additionally, Field Research tasks during Fashion Week will offer rewards such as Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Completing the special Collection Challenge will reward you with Stardust and an encounter with Trubbish.
