If you're diving into *Arise Crossover* and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the game mechanics, this guide is tailored just for you. At first glance, the game might seem straightforward—recruit Shadow units, attack defenseless enemies, and upgrade your Shadows. But as you progress, the complexity ramps up, leaving even seasoned players puzzled about leveling up, choosing the right Shadows, and more. Let's break it down to help you master the game.

In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands offers a variety of recruitable Shadows, with one formidable dungeon Shadow per island. When it comes to types, **Soondoo is the weakest unit** available from the start, whereas **Mifalcon reigns as the strongest**, found on the final Brum Island.

However, it's not just about types; **ranks play a critical role**. A **Rank A Soondoo can outshine a Rank D Mifalcon** due to its higher potential for growth. Higher-ranked units can level up to higher levels—for instance, **a Rank D unit tops out at Level 75**, while an **SS Unit can reach Level 200**. Your ultimate goal? An elite team of four SS-ranked Mifalcons, but getting there is part of the adventure.

**Dungeon Portals** in *Arise Crossover* appear every 30 minutes and remain active for 15 minutes. Even if you enter just before a portal closes, you'll have ample time to complete the dungeon. These portals can spawn at various locations across the islands, with randomly assigned difficulty ranks.
Start your journey by assembling a team of **Rank D units** and tackling a **Rank D or C dungeon** on Leveling Island. This approach will help you build a solid foundation of units and possibly snag a rare boss Shadow. **Dungeons are your exclusive gateway to recruiting Rare Units and common units above Rank C**.

Whenever you receive a notification about a portal spawning, **go for it**. Even if your team isn't up to par, position yourself near the portal and wait for a higher-level player to join. Many players can solo these dungeons and are often willing to help lower-level players. This community spirit is key to progressing in *Arise Crossover* by recruiting higher-ranked Shadows from dungeons.
We've experienced this firsthand; a kind player helped us through a **Rank A dungeon** with only Rank C units, allowing us to recruit Rank A units and push towards the endgame. Later, we returned the favor by assisting players with Rank D units through a **Rank S dungeon**. We encourage you to continue this cycle of support within the community.

During the Beta phase of *Arise Crossover*, **player weapons are largely ineffective**. They might offer a slight boost at the game's outset, but their impact diminishes significantly by the second island. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the most potent common weapon, costs 60 million and deals 516,1K damage. Meanwhile, your units can deliver 200 to 400 million damage. **Unless you're flush with cash, it's wise to save your money** until future updates enhance weapon utility.

Similar to dungeons, **wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes**, and only one player per server can attempt to claim each mount. A server-wide message alerts players to a new mount's appearance, but you won't be notified if someone else claims it or if it vanishes.
Mounts can appear in **six different locations**: on the back of the main islands or on smaller side islands between them. Check the developer's map for specific spawn points.

**You can't claim the same mount twice**, and there's a chance you might fail to capture one. **Flying mounts are the rarest**, with a 10% spawn rate, while **ground mounts are more common**, and **water mounts are available for purchase from the Boat Shop NPC**.
To secure a mount, keep an eye out for the server message and race to the six potential spawn locations. While mounts aren't essential for progression, a flying mount can significantly ease your travels. We're still on the hunt for our flying mount, and we wish you luck in your quest!
That's the rundown for now. As *Arise Crossover* evolves with updates, we'll keep this beginner's guide fresh. In the meantime, don't forget to check out the *Arise Crossover* codes for some fantastic freebies.
