Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection Brings Classic Games to Switch and Steam

Konami is bringing a nostalgic collection of classic Yu-Gi-Oh! games to the Nintendo Switch and Steam, celebrating the franchise's 25th anniversary. The Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will feature a curated selection of titles from the series' early days.

Currently confirmed for inclusion are:

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2

While these five titles have been confirmed, Konami has promised a total of ten classic games will be part of the Early Days Collection, with the remaining titles to be revealed later.

These original Game Boy titles have received significant upgrades for a modern audience. Konami has added online battle functionality, save/load features, and online co-op support where applicable. Further quality-of-life improvements, including customizable button layouts and background settings, are also planned.

Pricing and the official release date for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection on Switch and Steam are yet to be announced. Stay tuned for further updates!
