Samsung unveiled a total of six Mini-LED TV models for 2025, with three available for purchase starting today. The Neo QLED QN990F and QN900F are true 8K TVs featuring incremental enhancements such as new anti-glare technology, the One Connect wireless transmitter box, and access to Samsung's Art Store, previously exclusive to the Frame TVs. The Neo QLED QN90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F are the new 4K Mini-LED models. The top-tier QN90F boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, a Gen 3 processor, and an anti-glare coating similar to the S95F. The mid-range QN85F marks Samsung's first foray into 100" TVs.

The new lineup of OLED TVs for 2025 includes the S95F, S90F, and S85F, all featuring incremental upgrades over their predecessors. The flagship S95F model introduces the NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, an enhanced anti-glare coating, and an upgraded QD OLED panel that can achieve up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The S90F shares the Gen 3 processor, offers a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR, and features a QD OLED panel with up to 1,300 nits of brightness for models 55" and larger. The S85F, positioned as the "budget" option within the OLED range, comes equipped with a Gen 2 processor and is the only model currently available for purchase.

2025 Samsung The Frame Pro Art TV

Not yet released

The Frame Pro is set to launch this year alongside the standard Frame TV. It will feature a superior Neo QLED Mini-LED panel for enhanced color and brightness, a 144Hz refresh rate, new anti-glare technology, and wireless connectivity through the "One Connect" box, which can be discreetly stowed away. The standard Frame TV will also continue to be available, likely at a more affordable price point.

Samsung QN90D (2024) Review by Jaron Schneider

Samsung's 2024 mini LED QN90D is a highly refined television that enhances the user interface and introduces numerous new features, increasing its overall value. While it is on the pricier side, the exceptional brightness, color quality, abundance of HDMI 2.1 ports, and built-in gaming capabilities make a compelling case for its cost.

AI and Anti-Glare Tech Are the Highlights for Samsung

In line with industry trends, Samsung is heavily investing in AI technology for 2025. The new "Vision AI" can recognize the content being watched, including details like actors or settings, and provide personalized, real-time commentary. Additionally, more TV models will feature AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro to optimize image quality dynamically. Other AI-driven features include Active Voice Amplifier Pro for enhancing voices, AI Optimization, and AI Energy Mode. Samsung is also expanding the use of their matte-like anti-glare coating, seen on the S95D in 2024, across more models. This technology minimizes reflections without desaturating the image, setting it apart from typical anti-glare coatings.
