The legendary strategy game, *Age of Empires Mobile*, is expanding its horizons with the introduction of an exciting new Mercenaries System, empowering players with greater control and enhanced army strength. This innovative feature becomes accessible at Level 26 when players can unlock the Mercenary Camp, enabling them to hire and recruit formidable mercenary units. Not only can players enlist these warriors, but they can also unlock and enhance technologies that are uniquely tailored to these elite fighters.

Each mercenary group brings its own specialized skills to the battlefield, significantly impacting your strategy:

Byzantine Cataphract:

• Increase the damage of all hero skills of the army by [2%]
• After the troops inflict skill damage, all damage received by our troops is reduced by [3.5%] for [3] seconds

Swiss Pikeman:

• Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
• Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]

Korean Archer:

• Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
• Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]

Players have the opportunity to acquire their initial set of Mercenaries at no cost by participating in a special event, which is currently active alongside the system launch.
