Toward the end of the video, the game’s Season 2 pass was teased, featuring none other than Armor King. This marks the brutal masked wrestler’s long-awaited return to the Tekken universe.

In a dedicated announcement post on X (formerly Twitter) dated May 26, 2025, Bandai Namco shared a short clip highlighting Armor King’s design. He returns donning his classic armored suit, enhanced with golden embellishments, heavy gold chains, and a luxurious fur-lined collar. True to form, he finishes his entrance with his infamous flame-breathing taunt, signaling that he means business.

As one of the original fighters from the very first Tekken installment, Armor King has remained a staple in the franchise. His aggressive style and powerful grappling techniques made him a standout in Tekken 7, where he was part of the game’s additional DLC roster.

With Tekken 8's new Heat system in play, fans are eager to see how Armor King will adapt.
