Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 receives classic modes and map updates this week, alongside a patch addressing post-launch issues. Following its October 25th release, Treyarch has announced the addition of fan-favorite "Infected" mode on Thursday, and the iconic Nuketown map on Friday, November 1st.

Infected, a staple party mode in the Call of Duty franchise, pits survivors against AI-controlled zombies. Nuketown, originally featured in 2010's Black Ops, offers a fast-paced multiplayer experience set in a 1950s nuclear test site. This follows Activision's earlier promise of regular post-launch content updates for Black Ops 6, which launched with 11 standard multiplayer modes, including variations with disabled Scorestreaks and a Hardcore mode.
