Get ready, Call of Duty fans! Treyarch has just unveiled exciting news for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6—a fresh new Zombies map is on its way! Dive in to learn all about the Mansion and what thrilling experiences await you.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its round-based survival mode with the addition of a new Zombies map, marking the fifth new map in the game. A sneak peek was shared through the official Call of Duty X (formerly Twitter) and Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studio’s X account. On March 12, 2025, they posted an image showcasing the front of a grand mansion, visibly damaged with flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and internal fires.
The post was captioned with "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" and included the "#Zombies" hashtag. Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a well-known character from the series, played a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War. Given that Black Ops 6 is a remake of this title, it's no surprise that Eddie will once again make an appearance.
Sharp-eyed fans have identified this map as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, set in February 1991, as indicated on the teaser image. This timeline aligns perfectly with the narrative from the previous Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, suggesting a continuation of the story.
Another exciting detail about this map is the absence of Amalgam enemies. Treyarch confirmed this on their Instagram account when a user commented, "cannot wait to feel the wrath of 20 amalgams on this map too," to which the developers simply replied, "Nope." Amalgams are notorious Elite class enemies with high HP and powerful attacks. Their exclusion from this map promises a smoother gameplay experience for players.
