Buttered Cat: Platformer Puzzle Featuring a Toast-Loving Feline

A delightful new game, Cato: Buttered Cat, is on its way to Android! The name itself is a playful combination of "cat" and "toast," perfectly reflecting the game's quirky premise. Ever wondered what happens when you attach buttered toast to a cat's back? The developers at Team Woll did, and the result is a perpetually spinning, gravity-defying feline spectacle!

Initially conceived for the 2022 BOOOM Gamejam, Cato: Buttered Cat's positive reception led to its full development. Currently available on Steam for PC, the Android version is imminent. While the Google Play Store listing isn't live yet, you can pre-register on the official TapTap page.

Gameplay:

Cato: Buttered Cat is a charming puzzle platformer where you control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Their combined abilities are key to solving puzzles, overcoming enemies, and exploring five whimsical worlds. With 200 levels (including side quests) and 30 unique outfits, there's plenty to discover. The narrative unfolds gradually, with story elements scattered throughout the levels.

The cat's agility and the toast's projectile capabilities create unique gameplay mechanics. The toast can be launched to assist the cat in reaching otherwise inaccessible areas. Hidden rooms and Easter eggs add to the game's replayability.
