"Enter the Gungeon" Hits Android with Online Co-Op This Summer

by Lucas Sep 23,2025

Enter the Gungeon & Exit the Gungeon Coming to Android

The acclaimed bullet hell roguelikes Enter the Gungeon and its spin-off Exit the Gungeon will launch on Android this summer. Dodge Roll and Devolver Digital are bringing their popular dungeon crawlers to mobile with exciting new features, including a surprise crossover with Cult of the Lamb.

Mobile Development and Pricing

XD Network is handling the Android ports under Dodge Roll and Devolver Digital's supervision, having previously adapted both games for Chinese mobile markets. Enter the Gungeon will be priced at $8.99, while the fast-paced platformer Exit the Gungeon - formerly an Apple Arcade exclusive - will cost $4.99.

Exciting New Features

The Android version introduces several firsts for Enter the Gungeon, including online multiplayer support (previously limited to local co-op on other platforms). Players will also encounter Cult of the Lamb's protagonist as a playable character, complete with exclusive abilities and weaponry unavailable in other versions.

Release Date and Mobile-Specific Details

Both games officially launch on August 15, 2025 with a unique trial system: players can experience the first chamber for free, retain unlocked items, and apply this progress to the full purchasable versions. While controller support is included, Enter the Gungeon adapts its famous twin-stick controls with optional auto-aim assistance. Exit the Gungeon, originally designed with mobile play in mind, retains its arcade-style accessibility.

Pre-registration is now available via the Google Play Store. Note that mobile versions contain exclusive content not transferable from other platforms.
