Sixty years ago, they launched the Marvel Universe, revolutionizing superhero comic storytelling and laying the foundation for the entertainment landscape we know today. Their innovative approach during the Silver Age is undeniably crucial to Marvel's continued success.
This year, I embarked on a personal project: rereading every Marvel superhero comic from the 1960s onward, starting with the official canon. This exploration reveals the pivotal moments that shaped the Marvel Universe.
This article focuses on the most significant early Marvel comics, from the Fantastic Four's debut in 1961 to the Avengers' formation in 1963. We'll highlight key character introductions, landmark storylines, and particularly memorable issues. This is just the beginning of our journey through essential Marvel comics!
