Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Storm Completion Guide

Mastering stealth is key to tackling many quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, but some, like "Storm," demand it. This quest, crucial for wrapping up the Trosky region storyline and introducing the Kuttenberg region, throws you into a challenging situation. You'll begin weak, lacking armor, weapons, and even your trusty Saviour Schnapps, leaving you vulnerable with depleted health and stamina after your imprisonment.

Fortunately, some initial help is at hand. Katherine's rescue provides basic gear from the fallen guards—better than nothing! She also equips you with her dagger, enabling stealth kills. From there, your journey takes you to the top of the Crone in Trosky. While guards patrol the route, they're spaced out enough to allow for stealth takedowns or clever distractions.

A confrontation with Istvan Toth awaits atop the Crone. Since this encounter doesn't affect the quest's ultimate outcome, consider the dishonorable approach if combat feels risky. Your weakened state makes a fair fight perilous. After dealing with Toth, thoroughly search the room for everyone's belongings and secure essential documents.

With Toth subdued and your possessions recovered, return to the dungeon where your companions remain. They'll reclaim their belongings, revealing the escape route through the tunnels. Simply follow them—this part is straightforward.

The truly challenging phase of "Storm" begins now. Maintaining extremely low conspicuousness is paramount to avoid detection. Guards will alert each other, so being spotted often leads to multiple enemy encounters. Your weakened state further complicates stealth kills or knockouts.

Begin by taking the uphill path to the right, leading to a larger, more heavily guarded area. This path, however, brings you to Mika's location. Stealthily eliminate the guard, free Mika, and receive further guidance.

The final leg requires sustained stealth. Follow Mika's instructions, using the map markers as your guide. Your goal is the edge of the region. Head east and southeast towards the Apollonia main road, then south, staying concealed in the bushes. The marked area is larger than it appears; reaching about halfway triggers the ending cutscene. Use stones for distractions as needed. This cutscene concludes your role in this section, leading you to the Kuttenberg region.

"Storm" uniquely necessitates stealth, rather than offering it as an option. Prioritizing stealth skill upgrades beforehand is highly recommended for a smoother experience.
