SHIFT UP just unveiled the trailer for their upcoming collaboration DLC with Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. Posted to YouTube on May 22, viewers immediately recognized the quirky chibi-dog meme Doro, whose appearance sparked widespread excitement.

Doro makes a brief cameo toward the end of the video, sharing a short moment with Stellar Blade’s protagonist, Eve. The beloved meme character is fully animated, showcasing its lively personality through poses, playful running, and a final laugh that closes the trailer.

The meme originated from fan art of Stella Unibell from "Soulworker," where she was reimagined as a chibi-dog. It quickly spread across Korean NIKKE forums and inspired similar depictions of NIKKE’s Dorothy, later nicknamed "Dororong." Known for her adorable and chaotic energy, the meme became globally recognized as "Gremlin Dorothy" and extended beyond the NIKKE fanbase.

Doro’s popularity even reached SHIFT UP CEO Kim Hyung Tae, who was seen with a Christmas-themed Doro plush alongside his wife in 2024. While Doro’s exact role in the collab remains a mystery, fans are thrilled and amused by the unexpected yet fitting inclusion.

Stellar Blade x NIKKE Arrives June 11

This highly anticipated collaboration launches on June 11, timed with the PC release of Stellar Blade. According to the official website, the expansion will introduce a new boss fight, NIKKE-inspired outfits and rewards, a fresh mini-game, and more.

The website states: "The warrior Scarlet, from Shift Up’s popular third-person shooter mobile game, challenges you to an epic one-on-one duel—only by defeating this boss can you unlock a new costume, hairstyle, and song for EVE."

In addition, a new mini-game draws inspiration from NIKKE’s sci-fi shooting mechanics, while Volt, the loyal robotic dog, runs a rewards shop with themed outfits and cosmetics. Players can also relax with a fishing activity, catching six collectible NIKKE-themed items.

Specific details about the outfits and other rewards in the DLC are still under wraps. Nonetheless, fans are eagerly looking forward to this collaboration between SHIFT UP’s hit titles, anticipating a memorable experience for both communities.
