Tepes Ovidiu, the talented indie solo developer from Romania, has just released an exciting new puzzle game titled "Is This Yours?" Known for his previous hits like Cessabit and Not Chess, Ovidiu once again showcases his versatility by single-handedly managing the artwork, animations, and coding for this latest creation. This game transforms the mundane task of running a lost and found counter into an engaging and entertaining experience.
In "Is This Yours?", players take on the role of managing a bustling lost and found counter. You'll encounter a variety of characters in distress, each searching for their misplaced items ranging from burritos and earbuds to passports and emotionally complex teddy bears. The game presents each request as a mini puzzle, challenging players to match the lost items with their often vague or bizarre descriptions. Whether it's locating broken sunglasses or something even more peculiar, the game keeps you on your toes.
As you successfully reunite people with their belongings, "Is This Yours?" offers a mix of frantic gameplay, unexpected emotional moments, and plenty of humor. Dive into the experience with the mobile gameplay trailer below:
In the fast-paced mode of "Is This Yours?", players start with three hearts. The quicker you match items to their owners, the higher your reputation climbs. However, as the game progresses, the volume of lost items increases, and the patience of your customers decreases, adding to the challenge.
For a more relaxed experience, there's a Zen mode where you can take your time without the pressure of impatient customers or the risk of losing hearts. The game also features haptic feedback, achievements, and leaderboards through Game Centre. Priced at a one-time purchase of $1.99, "Is This Yours?" is free from ads, tracking, and data collection, and is available on the Google Play Store.
