Marvel Rivals: Galacta's Quest Easter Egg and Hero Fixes

by Zoey Jan 10,2026

NetEase Games has released the Marvel Rivals version 20250327 patch notes in preparation for Season 2’s mid-April launch.

The developer behind Marvel's popular hero shooter published a detailed summary of all the changes coming in the upcoming update on its official website today, promising a range of hero fixes and map adjustments arriving this Thursday, March 27. The update requires no server downtime, so you can jump in and experience the changes to heroes like Wolverine and Iron Fist as soon as it goes live at 9:00 AM (UTC+0).

A standout feature in this latest Marvel Rivals Season 1 update is an unexpected bonus for the Galacta’s Cosmic Quest board game event. This special April Fool’s Easter egg reward is exclusive to players who have fully completed the event. NetEase describes the reward as granting access to a "hidden twist surprise," so everyone will have to wait until later this week to discover what it actually is.

This Marvel Rivals update also reduces instances of characters clipping through maps. While it’s unclear exactly which maps will see improvements, the development team confirmed it fixed a bug on Hydra Charteris Base that occasionally caused teammates to be revived outside the playable area.

As Marvel Rivals concludes Season 1 and gears up for Season 2, this update includes numerous fixes for hero-specific issues. Wolverine, Iron Fist, Iron Man, Loki, Doctor Strange, Magneto, and Human Torch each receive targeted ability adjustments this round. The X-Men’s clawed icon receives the most attention in update 20250327, with NetEase confirming his Feral Leap and Ultimate ability will now behave more consistently.

Marvel Rivals Season 2 is scheduled to begin on April 11, 2025. Players have speculated for months about which heroes will be added, though observant fans are anticipating a theme centered on Marvel’s infamous Hellfire Gala. If these rumors prove true, characters like Blade and Emma Frost could finally enter the battle, fulfilling NetEase’s commitment to introduce at least one new hero every half-season.

2. Corrected a bug on Hydra Charteris Base where Rocket Raccoon's B.R.B. could occasionally revive teammates outside the playable zone due to terrain alterations.

Heroes

1. Wolverine's Terrifying Pounce: Fixed an issue where the Hulk could behave abnormally after being thrown into a terrain KO by Wolverine's Feral Leap. Now, the green giant takes his licks without any unexpected environmental theatrics!

2. Iron Fist's Wall-Climbing Adjustments: Addressed a Practice Range issue where Iron Fist's wall-climbing performance was overly effective. The martial arts master can now scale walls as intended!

3. Iron Man's Teleportation Glitch: On Sanctum Sanctorum, using Hyper-Velocity immediately before entering a portal occasionally caused the ability to malfunction and display incorrect visual effects. Now, Iron Man's rapid transit works flawlessly, allowing seamless arrivals and exits.

4. Loki-Doctor Strange Unauthorized Combo: Fixed a Doom Match exploit where Loki transforming into Doctor Strange could illegally use the Pentagram of Farallah. This reality-bending loophole has been closed.

5. Magneto's MVP Display: Corrected a post-match issue where Magneto's MVP presentation sometimes showed distorted or erratic visuals. The master of magnetism now appears with proper authoritative flair.

6. Wolverine's Ultimate Accuracy: Resolved a problem where, under high network latency, enemies launched and slammed by Wolverine's Ultimate could land in incorrect positions. Now, every Last Strike lands precisely where intended.

7. Human Torch's Primary Attack: Fixed a rare bug where Human Torch's Primary Attack would occasionally fail to hit its target, reducing his firepower. With this fix, each flame burst hits its mark reliably, ensuring his attacks are consistently impactful!

Console

1. Removed a bug that sometimes caused the chat window to refocus on older messages when opened.
