The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational (MWI) is set to make a triumphant return in July 2025, once again taking center stage at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh. Following one of the most unforgettable finales in 2024, where Smart Omega Empress stunned the esports world by dethroning the dominant Team Vitality and ending their historic 24-tournament winning streak, anticipation for MWI 2025 is at an all-time high.

This year, the competition expands to feature 16 elite all-women MLBB teams from around the globe, battling for glory, prestige, and a record-breaking prize pool. The tournament will run from July 15th to 19th, kicking off with a double-elimination Group Stage that ensures every team gets a fair shot at advancing.

The top eight teams will progress to a high-stakes single-elimination playoff bracket, where every match counts and only one can claim the ultimate title. With a total prize pool of $550,000 up for grabs—and an additional $10,000 MVP bonus awarded to the tournament’s most outstanding player—the pressure will be on for every squad to bring their A-game.

This year’s qualification system is more inclusive than ever, spotlighting top-tier talent across regions. Already confirmed are standout teams such as DreamMax from the MWI 2025 LATAM Qualifiers, CFU Serendipity from Queen Legends Season 1, NAVI MY from the MYSG Qualifier, and Falcons Vega MENA from the Carry1st Africa Cup.

Additional teams will secure their spots through ongoing regional competitions including BOG Season 1, Athena League, and Lady MVP Season 6. Final berths will be decided in qualifiers from China, North America, Mekong, Mongolia, and Türkiye, with outcomes expected in the coming weeks.
