While Tinkatink's arrival is still pending, Fighting-type Pokémon are taking center stage as Sparring Partners Raid Day arrives in Pokémon Go on April 13. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, you have a focused three-hour window to showcase your battling skills, hunt for Shiny Pokémon, and face off against some of the toughest fighters in the Pokémon world.

Pokémon Go's Sparring Partners Raid Day features Mega Heracross making its powerful debut in Mega Raids. Hariyama and Scraggy are also joining the fray, appearing in standard raids throughout the event with increased Shiny odds. This Fighting-type spectacle demands your strongest counters to take them on.

Beyond raids, the event introduces a new Charged Attack called Upper Hand. In Trainer Battles, this move inflicts 70 power and can lower your opponent's Defense. When used in raids and gym battles, it delivers a solid 50-power hit. This versatile attack could be your key to gaining an advantage in critical matchups.

The event offers several helpful bonuses. You can obtain up to six free Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs, and for this weekend only, the Remote Raid Pass limit increases to 20—giving you more opportunities than ever to join raids from a distance.
