Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th

Originally slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will now launch on January 28th, 2025. This delay, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, allows for additional polishing to ensure the best possible player experience.

Developed by Balloon Studios, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The game, lauded as one of the best puzzle games of 2024, invites players to cultivate magical plants in the serene English countryside. While a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, pre-orders are anticipated soon.

The PlayStation port is expected to maintain the $24.99 price point of other versions, offering a one-time purchase free of microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is unlikely to be available.

Expanding PlayStation's Puzzle Genre

Botany Manor's strong reception, evidenced by an 83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic, positions it as a valuable addition to the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its blend of relaxing atmosphere, challenging puzzles, and engaging exploration has resonated strongly with critics and players alike.

With the PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios' next project remains unannounced. January 28th also sees the PlayStation release of other titles including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
