Fix Dice in Citizen Sleeper 2: Quick Guide

During your playthrough of Citizen Sleeper 2, your dice will inevitably sustain damage at various points. This guide explains the repair process to get your dice operational again.

Why Dice Sustain Damage

The primary cause of dice damage in Citizen Sleeper 2 is Stress accumulation. Stress builds when you fail actions or enter a "Starving" state. Increased stress levels raise the chance of dice breaking, with each die sustaining three hits before requiring repair.

The Dice Repair Process

While dice may break early in the game on Hexport, repair becomes available only after reaching Far Spindle. You'll meet Bliss, who unlocks the Rig Workshop aboard your ship. Between contracts, visit this workshop for two repair options: Improvised Repairs and Dice Repair.

Comparing Repair Methods

Improvised Repairs: Costs 2 Scrap Components per die repaired but increases your Glitch meter, raising future glitch probabilities.

Dice Repair: Requires 1 Rare Component (harder to obtain) but adds less to the Glitch meter.

While Dice Repair is preferable when possible, Improvised Repairs remain viable throughout most gameplay. Rare Components become more accessible in later game stages.

Addressing Glitched Dice

Glitched dice (20% success/80% failure rates) can sometimes occur, particularly depending on difficulty settings. While no direct repair method exists for glitched dice, progressing through the "Diagnose Your Frame" story mission will repair one glitched die.
