In the thrilling co-operative horror game *R.E.P.O.*, your mission is straightforward yet perilous: retrieve valuable items and survive the onslaught of unpredictable monsters to make it out alive. Successfully extracting with your loot not only tests your survival skills but also rewards you handsomely. The menacing AI Taxman oversees your haul, allowing you to exchange your hard-earned cash for essential survival gear at the Service Station.

As you delve deeper into *R.E.P.O.*, mastering the extraction process becomes crucial. What might initially feel overwhelming soon turns into a routine as you tackle more levels and face off against increasingly formidable creatures.

How to Extract in R.E.P.O.

During your initial foray into *R.E.P.O.*, you'll encounter a single Extraction Point. As you progress through locations, the number of these points can increase, reaching a maximum of four. Keep an eye on the red number in the right-hand corner of your screen to track your extraction goals and see how many you've already completed.

At the start of each level, your first Extraction Point is conveniently located near your R.E.P.O. truck, ensuring you know exactly where to return your initial haul of valuables. Subsequent extractions, however, become more challenging.

After dropping off your first C.A.R.T.-full, you'll need to navigate the rest of the level, unaware of the Taxman's demands or the location of the next drop-off. This is where your in-game map, accessible by pressing "Tab" on your keyboard, becomes indispensable. It helps you plan routes and explore new areas, especially useful when playing with others as you can cover more ground together.

The next Extraction Point's location becomes clear only once you reach its vicinity, either by sight or sound. Once located, hit the big red button to discover if you've gathered enough valuables. If you have, place your C.A.R.T within the designated grey area to ensure no items are destroyed.

Depending on the number of Extraction Points you need to find, you'll either move on to the next one or make your way back to the truck in one piece. Remember, after the final Extraction Point is processed, you don't need to take the C.A.R.T back to the truck; a new one will spawn at the next location or level.
