Slothwerks, the creative minds behind the acclaimed Meteorfall series, have unveiled their latest venture: Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble. This new card battler is now open for pre-registration on Android, marking the third installment in the series following Meteorfall (2017) and Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale (2019). Set to launch next month, it promises an engaging experience in the unique Meteorfall universe.
Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is a roguelike deckbuilder where fast-paced matches and rule-bending gameplay take center stage. Players will find themselves in the thick of the action, deploying cards to dazzle a bloodthirsty audience. You'll lead a squad of three heroes, selected from a diverse pool of eight, each equipped with their unique deck.
With over 200 cards at your disposal, you can tailor your strategy on the fly with layered upgrades. The game introduces Wild Cards, which allow you to defy conventional battle tactics, and performing daring feats during combat can earn you valuable buffs.
Between intense battles, you'll find yourself in Bramble Town, a hub where strategic decisions await. Should you enhance your deck, train your team, or simply explore the town's eccentricities? These choices will shape your journey through the game.
Originally announced as Bramble Royale, the game stirred some confusion among fans who mistook it for a battle royale. To clarify its identity and reconnect it with the beloved Meteorfall series, the developers wisely rebranded it to Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble a few weeks ago.
This rebranding not only clears up any confusion but also aligns the game firmly within the quirky and engaging world fans have come to love. If you're curious about what Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble has in store, take a look at the trailer below.
If you're a fan of the series, you can pre-register for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble on the Google Play Store. Mark your calendars for its launch on June 25th, 2025, and prepare to dive into this thrilling experience for just $6.99.
