Sony has scheduled a State of Play event for tomorrow, June 4.
In a PlayStation Blog update, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s content communications manager Tim Turi announced that the event will feature "exciting updates and reveals for top PS5 titles." Turi added: “The showcase spotlights outstanding games from developers worldwide.”
The 40+ minute presentation kicks off on June 4 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 11pm CEST.
Details are scarce, but anticipation is high for more on Sucker Punch’s PlayStation 5 exclusive sequel, Ghost of Yotei, set to release in October.
Might we also get a glimpse of Insomniac’s Wolverine game or updates from Sony’s other studios, like God of War developer Sony Santa Monica, Days Gone creator Bend Studio, or Guerrilla, which is crafting a multiplayer Horizon title?
Sony-owned Bungie is developing Marathon, though its visibility may be limited following a recent art plagiarism controversy. Fairgames, now without Jade Raymond leading, remains in progress. Last month, Sony introduced teamLFG, a new PlayStation studio, and hinted at its first live service project.
We could also see titles from third-party developers Sony is publishing, such as Phantom Blade Zero.
