Summoners War 2025 World Arena Championship starts in Paris

The SWC2025 season has officially begun

Summoners War makes its triumphant return to global esports with the ninth annual World Arena Championship, promising to be the largest competition to date. Featuring expanded regional tournaments, worldwide qualifiers, and a thrilling grand finale in Paris, the SWC2025 season is now in full swing.

Players can register for SWC2025 through the Summoners War: Sky Arena event page until June 30th at midnight PT. Top performers from World Arena Seasons 32 and 33 will qualify for preliminary rounds across three major regions: Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific.

The Asia-Pacific region will be divided into four competitive zones - Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Rest of Asia - each contributing eight participants to the initial phase. The preliminary matches scheduled for late July through August will employ double elimination brackets featuring best-of-five matches to determine Regional Cup qualifiers.

The competition shifts to live events with the Regional Cups, starting with Europe's closed-door tournament on September 20th. The Americas Cup follows in São Paulo on October 11th, with the Asia-Pacific Cup concluding regional play in Busan on October 18th. Each cup will send three finalists to the World Championship.

Aspiring competitors outside the main qualifications path have alternative opportunities through Open Qualifiers in France and Hangzhou, offering three additional Finals spots - one from Paris and two from China.

The season concludes with the World Finals on November 1st in Paris, where twelve elite summoners will battle in single-elimination matches for the SWC2025 championship title.
