Schedule 1 developer has given fans a sneak peek into the game’s next update, revealing exciting new content including a fresh building, a Jukebox, and more. With these additions, the game continues to build on its immersive world and engaging gameplay. Read on for full details about what’s coming soon and what players can expect in future updates.
Schedule 1 remains one of the top-selling titles on Steam, and with regular updates and new features, it shows no signs of slowing down. On May 1, solo developer Tyler from TVGS shared a first look at the upcoming update via a Twitter (X) post, giving fans an early glimpse of what’s in store.
In the post, Tyler revealed several images showcasing elements from the next patch, which is nearing completion and will soon enter open beta testing. Among the highlights are a new building marked by the sign “Stash and Dash,” a mysterious Jukebox—believed to allow players to customize or change the in-game soundtrack—and a newly constructed corridor that hints at expanded exploration options.
While there hasn’t been an official release date announced yet, this update will first roll out to the beta branch before going live for all players. To access the beta version, users must adjust their Steam settings under Beta participation to "beta." Additional information may be found on the game’s official Trello board, where fans can track ongoing development progress and planned features.
Last week, Tyler hosted his very first dev stream on Twitch, connecting directly with fans and sharing insights into the development roadmap. During the broadcast, he showcased some of the 3D modeling work he’s been doing and outlined his long-term vision for expanding the game world.
According to Tyler, future plans include introducing a “swampy, slummy area” to the map, adding grit and variety to the environment. He also aims to expand the upscale part of town by constructing more cliffside homes. Looking further ahead, his goal is to develop the island located across from the main area, offering entirely new zones to explore.
While these ideas are ambitious and promise to significantly enhance the game experience, fans should keep in mind that Tyler is a solo developer. That means major expansions like these will take time to fully realize. Still, the community remains enthusiastic and supportive of the direction Schedule 1 is heading.
Currently available in Early Access for PC, Schedule 1 continues to evolve thanks to Tyler’s dedication and fan feedback. For more updates and news about the game, check back often or read our latest coverage below!
