Zenless Zone Zero Surges in Revenue with Hoshimi Miyabi's Debut

HoYoverse's mobile sensation, Zenless Zone Zero, continues its impressive market dominance. The recent 1.4 update, titled "And the Starfall Came," propelled the game to a record-breaking $8.6 million in daily mobile player spending – a significant leap from its previous high achieved at launch in July 2024.

AppMagic data reveals Zenless Zone Zero's cumulative mobile revenue has already surpassed $265 million. Update 1.4's success is attributed to the introduction of new characters like Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, alongside enhanced game mechanics, new environments, and game modes, all stimulating increased player spending.

The free availability of Harumasa as a promotional character, coupled with the Hoshimi Miyabi banner, proved instrumental in achieving this record revenue.

This update's impact on player engagement has been exceptionally long-lasting. Unlike typical post-update spending dips within a week, Zenless Zone Zero maintained daily revenues exceeding $1 million for over 11 consecutive days, and even surpassed $500,000 per day after two weeks.

While undeniably successful, Zenless Zone Zero still trails behind HoYoverse's flagship titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, in terms of overall revenue.
