War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is a thrilling real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that pits players against each other in competitive PvP battles. In WOE, one player can initiate a match, inviting others to join and engage in intense combat. The game's dynamic nature allows for complete manual control over a variety of units and buildings, offering players an unparalleled degree of freedom.
WOE immerses players in the medieval ages, simulating 18 powerful Empires or civilizations, including China, Japan, Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, Maya, and more. Each Empire boasts 8 types of regular units and a unique unit, enhancing strategic diversity. While regular units like Swordsmen, Pikemen, Archers, Light Cavalry, and Aries are standard across all Empires, each has its distinctive unit, such as Mongolian Riders, Persian War Elephants, and Spanish Conquistadors, adding depth to the gameplay.
Buildings play a crucial role in WOE, with structures like Towers, Turrets, Castles, and Blacksmith Shops. Towers, for instance, are pivotal for offensive strategies and can shoot 6 arrows simultaneously when manned by 5 farmers. Turrets, on the other hand, are specialized for demolishing enemy buildings.
Each Empire in WOE has its own set of strengths and weaknesses, making the game richly strategic. For example, the Huns don't need to build houses, saving valuable time, and their Cavalry is 20% cheaper and can be upgraded to Rangers. Conversely, the Teutonic warriors are formidable but slow-moving, akin to historical Spartan warriors.
The essence of WOE's gameplay revolves around juggling multiple tasks simultaneously: developing your economy by producing farmers and gathering resources, harassing enemies to gain an early advantage, and ultimately, destroying your opponents. Effective teamwork and understanding unit counters are key. Players must master the rock-paper-scissors dynamics of units, where Pikemen counter Cavalry, Cavalry overpower Archers, and Archers are effective against Pikemen. Unique units like the Slave on a camel or the Koryo Carriage add further strategic layers.
In WOE, resources are split into Food and Gold, and as the game progresses, players can upgrade from the Dark Ages through the Feudal, Castle, and Emperor eras, unlocking advanced technologies, buildings, and units. The game offers various modes to cater to different play styles, with the most popular being Normal Mode and Imperial Deathmatch Mode. Normal Mode emphasizes development with limited resources, encouraging early skirmishes and complex strategies. In contrast, Imperial Deathmatch Mode thrusts players directly into the Emperor era with ample resources, facilitating immediate and intense confrontations.
Having been available in China for 4 years and updated to version 1.8.n, WOE offers a robust set of features. Players can engage in battles against CPU opponents, participate in network play, spectate matches, replay games, create custom maps, join legions, add friends, and engage in chats. This comprehensive feature set ensures a deeply engaging and continuously evolving gaming experience.
