Roblox 先前舉辦的「The Hunt: First Edition」活動雖獎品價值不及 PlayStation 5 Pro 同捆組，仍吸引 3,400 萬名玩家參與。基於此先例，預期「The Hunt: Mega Edition」將在 Roblox 社群引發熱潮，直至今年四月直播決賽為止。前十名參賽者將獲邀前往 Roblox 總部，爭奪七位數獎金。

這份多元名單要求參賽者展現跨類型遊戲的駕馭能力——從生活模擬遊戲《Bayside High School》、烹飪挑戰《Hell's Kitchen》，到殭屍射擊遊戲《Infection Gunfight》皆涵蓋其中。
