8 Titles Leaving Xbox Game Pass in May 2025

by Adam Jan 12,2026

Microsoft has announced which titles are exiting its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. A total of eight games are scheduled to depart, including Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

Xbox Game Pass is a digital gaming service for Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers can stream games directly to smart devices and consoles, play new releases on launch day (depending on their subscription plan), and access a library of hundreds of high-quality games with friends across console, PC, or cloud. It's from this cloud catalog that the following eight titles are being rotated out.

The Big Con

Microsoft is anticipated to reveal the Wave 2 lineup for May 2025 shortly after these games leave the service.

Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received a new benefit: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without needing to download them.

This update was shared in an Xbox Wire post, where Microsoft confirmed that Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass library, as well as from their own owned collection, to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles via cloud streaming. Previously, this functionality was available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, but this marks its first availability on consoles.

If today's report about Grand Theft Auto 6 being delayed until May 2026 has you eager to revisit GTA 5, remember that Grand Theft Auto V: Enhanced Edition is currently accessible on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. The PC availability is particularly noteworthy, as it's the first time the title has been included in the PC Game Pass library.
