DC's 'Cheetah and Cheshire' Creators Reunite for Justice League

Writer Greg Rucka and artist Nicola Scott deliver what many consider the definitive modern origin story for Wonder Woman in 'Wonder Woman: Year One.' Now, the acclaimed creative team reunites for a thrilling new DC Universe heist titled 'Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League.'

This six-issue limited series launches as part of DC's ongoing All In initiative. While Cheetah and Cheshire may seem an unlikely duo, their pairing has deep roots for the creators. Cheetah played a pivotal role in Rucka's celebrated Wonder Woman runs, while Cheshire was a key figure in Scott and writer Gail Simone's original 'Secret Six' series.

Here is the official synopsis from DC:

'Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League' finds the titular villains orchestrating the ultimate crime: infiltrating the most secure facility in the DC Universe. To pull off this impossible heist, they must assemble a crew skilled enough to outwit the Justice League and treacherous enough not to betray each other, all while targeting one of the DCU's most dangerous artifacts.

Their six-issue caper faces monumental obstacles: a state-of-the-art orbital platform, its advanced AI security systems, and the world's most powerful and intelligent superheroes standing guard.

"I won’t bury the lede," said Rucka in a statement. "This is a crew of villains, or at least individuals operating outside the law. Not one of them has authorization to board the Justice League Watchtower. We’ve intentionally set a daunting challenge. For Cheetah, this is an all-or-nothing mission—she is determined to succeed, and nothing will stand in her way."

'Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League' #1 arrives in stores on August 6, 2025.
